Understanding Al-Muddaththir
Al-Muddaththir opens with a command to rise and warn, magnify Allah, purify and avoid seeking worldly return for service. It warns against stubborn rejection and includes a portrait of people whose neglect of prayer, the poor and accountability led them to regret. This page intentionally separates the translated Quran text from IHSAYA's short educational summary.
The opening turns private preparation into public warning and service.
Magnifying Allah, purification and avoiding self-serving gain are placed together.
Failure in prayer, feeding the poor and taking accountability seriously is presented as deeply consequential.
Editorial basis: the Quran text and attributed translation on this page. See IHSAYA Sources for the editorial sourcing standard.
