Let them see Quran as part of normal life
When adults read, listen and speak respectfully about the Quran outside formal lesson time, children see that it belongs naturally in the home.
Keep early experiences manageable
Short, regular moments can be easier for children than long sessions built around pressure. Age, attention and learning needs differ, so flexibility matters.
Celebrate curiosity
Invite questions. When you do not know an answer, say so and look for a reliable source together. That teaches honesty as well as learning.
Avoid constant comparison
Children develop at different speeds. Comparing recitation, memorization or attention can turn learning into competition instead of connection.
Use qualified teaching for formal learning
Parents can create a supportive environment, while pronunciation, recitation and deeper Islamic study benefit from trusted teachers with appropriate knowledge.
